Janesville’s police K9 unit helps capture a suspect during a short foot chase. Police say during a traffic stop about 4:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Court Street and Garfield Avenue the officer discovered evidence of drug use, and requested the K9 unit. Officers say the front seat passenger then took off on foot. The K-9 tracked him down and 27-year-old Sheadrick A. Williams of Beloit was arrested on charges including Possession of THC, Cocaine, and Resisting an Officer.
