A local hospital is beginning a fundraising campaign to purchase the latest advancement in technology to detect and prevent breast cancer. Edgerton Hospital Radiology Manager Tammy Stearns says the 3D digital mammogram machine creates images like a CT scan. Hospital officials say fundraising will begin through the “Women-4-Women” Giving Circle by asking 1oo women to raise $one thousand each. The total fundraising goal is $350 thousand.
