The median sales price of a home in Rock County appears to be on the rise. The latest figures from the Wisconsin Realtors Association indicate the price in January was 33% higher than a year ago. Rock-Green Realtors Association President Ben Shult says part of the reason for the increase in sales prices is a lack of inventory. According to the report, the number of sales were virtually the same. The January median sales price of a home in Rock County was $146,250. Shult expects the number of sales to increase this year as more home sellers take advantage of the rising prices.
