Parker High School in Janesville prepares for Lego competition

Lego’s may be helping Janesville high school students prepare for a high tech career. Parker High School teacher Bob Getka says with one million jobs currently available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, he’s pleased to see students preparing their projects for this weekend’s Wisconsin First Lego League robotics state competition being hosted in Janesville.  Getka says students also have to prepare a project related to water conservation.  He says Janesville’s team came up with a way to recycle shower water for use in the toilet.  36 teams have been chosen from 400 statewide for the competition set for Sunday.
