The Town of Beloit Police Department takes a 34-year-old man into custody following the execution of a search warrant related to a sexual assault investigation.
Town of Beloit Police were assisted by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office in executing the warrant Thursday at a residence on the 2500 block of East Hill Road.
Noel Y. Perez Lavariega was taken into custody on suspicion of second degree sexual assault of a child.
Authorities say the preliminary investigation indicates that Lavariega may have used a social media dating site to arrange the meeting with a juvenile.
