Despite the objections of the Beloit Police Department, officials in Douglas County are placing a 57-year-old child sex predator at a home in Beloit next door to where a child lives.
Beloit Police say beginning March 23rd, Kenneth R. Cairns will be residing at a home at 2219 Euclid Avenue with another registered sex offender.
Beloit Police are taming up wit the Department of Corrections to host a community meeting regarding Cairns’ release Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 at the Beloit Historical Society.
Cairns has at least five convictions dating back to 1979 for various sex crimes involving children.
