The Milton School Board appears to be getting back to basics when it comes to fixing up the district’s facilities. After two failed referendums, the board’s strategic planning committee Thursday night discussed finding a unifying solution. Suggestions included reviewing the needs outlined by the Facilities Advisory Community Team from several years ago, setting a price more acceptable to the electorate, and prioritizing needs. The committee appeared to set on a goal of compromise, and to avoid further polarizing problems over the issue.
