The Rock County Medical Examiner is releasing the name of the 62-year-old man, killed in a traffic crash over the weekend. The sheriff’s office reports the single vehicle crash was reported just before midnight Friday on South Nelson Road, about a half-mile south of West Carroll Road. Deputies say the vehicle was headed north, crossed into the southbound lane, and entering the west side ditch before hitting a tree. A sheriff’s office release indicates the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected form the vehicle. The medical examiner identifies the victim as Bruce Woodward of Durand, Illinois.
