A 40-year-old Janesville man is dead after a traffic crash on Highway 11/14 at Highway C/M on the Walworth/Rock County line. The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a Jeep failed to yield the right of way while turning onto Highway 11-14 and broadsided the driver’s side of a van being driven by Marcus Hawkinson. Deputies say Hawkinson was the sole occupant and was ejected from the vehicle. He was later pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center. The driver of the Jeep, a 26-year-old Milton Woman, and two small children suffered minor injuries. The crash is still under investigation.
