Four people are injured following a shooting Tuesday afternoon on Janesville’s southwest side.
Janesville Police were dispatched to a disturbance and shots fired call around 4:30 p.m. on the 1700 and 1800 block of South Osborne Avenue. Upon arrival an adult male suffering from a wound near his ear exited the home.
Officers set up a perimeter around the home and a female with a serious gun shot wound to the leg exited.
As officers continued to investigate they located a male trying to leave the area on Pershing Place. He claimed to be suffering from an injury and officers took him into custody.
Two hours later around 6:30 p.m. officers located another female suffering from a head injury in a home on the 1700 block of South Osborne Avenue.
Officers say they believe the man walking on Pershing is the suspect and the incident was domestic in nature.
More information is expected to come out at a news conference at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday
