The Janesville City Council votes to delay a decision on the creation of a joint Rock County Historical Society Executive Director and City Historian until May 29th.
Council member Jim Farrell says he doesn’t support the proposal either way.
Among issues concerning the City Council Monday night was the fact that although the Historical Society’s board unanimously approved the proposal, the non-profit’s members were not brought up to speed. Many commented that the first time they heard about the idea was in the news.
