The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office is releasing the name of the 73-year-old Beloit man killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash near the Town of Newark.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says Richard J. Ward was alone in his pick-up about 7:00 o’clock Sunday night, driving east when the vehicle crossed the center line and entered the opposite side ditch.
Investigators say the pick-up hit a driveway culvert and flipped end to end one time.
Ward was trapped and died as a result of the injuries.
He was not wearing a seatbelt.
