The Milton School District will be looking into what it’s up against when it comes to the aging swimming pool. The district’s insurance carrier last month performed a safety inspection of the facility. The inspection could have labeled the pool a liability, but since nothing was deemed an imminent danger, the district has kept it open. Because of a variety of maintenance concerns regarding the pool, the building and grounds supervisor Monday night informed the school board a $7500 study has been commissioned through Ramaker and Associates to further assess the pool.
