Beloit police are investigating an early morning shots-fired incident. Police were called to the area of Shirland Avenue and 8th Street about 3:00 a.m. after several callers reported hearing gunfire. Officers say they found several shell casings, but no homes or vehicles were found damaged. No one has been reported injured. No witnesses have come forward.
