Now that the spring elections are over, a Milton School Board member announces her resignation. Betsy Lubke intends to step away from the board this Friday. Lubke says she’s resigning for personal reasons. She says her husband recently retired and they plan to travel and visit their children. She says the board has many important decisions to make in the coming year, and she feels she will not be able to give the time and energy necessary to be engaged and effective. The school board will discuss options for replacing Lubke when they meet next Monday.
