The first candidate to announce a run for the 43rd Assembly District Seat is the incumbent. Democrat Don Vruwink of Milton says he’d like a second term to help tackle some issues including sustainable transportation funding. In his first term Vruwink says he’s pleased to have introduced several bills addressing needs in areas including support of agricultural diversity, a property tax freeze for low-income retirees, and expanding broadband infrastructure.
