Evansville man sentenced on hair burning charges

A 28-year-old Evansville man, accused of setting a woman’s hair on fire at a bar, is sentenced to probation.  Nicholas J. Larson was originally charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct in the December 16th incident at Pete’s Inn in Evansville.  Larson pleaded guilty to reduced charges of disorderly conduct and negligent handling of burning materials in Rock County Court.  Judge Karl Hanson sentenced Larson to two years of probation.  The judge also ordered Larson to get any treatment designated by his probation agent and to have no contact with the victim.
