Janesville police say they found two packages of marijuana weighing about 13 ounces during a traffic stop. 22-year-old Alan A. Rojas Hernandez and 26-year-old Aram Bruno Cruz of Beloit were arrested on charges of being a party to possession with intent to deliver marijuana. A criminal complaint says a Janesville police lieutenant reported seeing a black Volkswagen speeding on West Delavan Drive about 1:30 Saturday morning, and he stopped the car on nearby Drake Street. The complaint says officers found a backpack containing two vacuum-sealed bags of suspected marijuana, one labeled “¼ sherbert” and one labeled “¼ diamond OG,”. Names such as those are often used to brand different strains of pot in marijuana-legal states.
