With such a warm sunny forecast Saturday, opening day for the first Janesville Farmer’s Market of the season may attract a crowd. The Farmer’s Market had considered moving to the new Festival Street, but manager Emily Arthur says with the market growing, a smaller space wasn’t in its best interest. Authur does promise some people new to farming in the Janesville area making their debut at the market this year. She also says live music and several special market days are planned. Market hours are 8:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. through October.
