A 35-year-old Janesville man is accused of physically abusing a 3-month-old boy in his care. A criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court says Kyell A. Churchill is charged with felony physical abuse of a child. The complaint says the baby was taken to Mercyhealth Clinic East on May 1, with injuries to his mouth, and bruises to his right arm. The complaint goes on to indicate the baby’s sibling was examined and found to have multiple rib fractures. Churchill’s next court appearance will be Monday afternoon.
