The City of Beloit Police Department invites citizens to honor the hard work and sacrifices made by the men and women of the Beloit Police Department during National Police Week, which is Sunday, May 13, through Saturday, May 19.
National Police Week honors America’s law enforcement community, including by paying special recognition to law enforcement officers who have lost their life in the line of duty.
“The men and women of the Beloit Police Department aren’t in this career for recognition or accolades. They are here because they are passionate about serving the public through progressive community policing,” said Police Chief David B. Zibolski. “Our community is strengthened by the ongoing support of our guardians. We are seeing positive changes, and we are committed to working with Beloit residents to eliminate the commission of violent crimes in our community.”
