Man accused of stealing $2,250 from Milton bank

Milton Police hope the public can help identify a man accused of scamming a local bank out of more than $2000.

According to an release issued by the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network, the incident happened on May first.

Milton police say a suspect came in with $4,800 in new $100 bills and asked to exchange them for $50 bills. The suspect is accused of distracting the teller and leaving with all of the original $100 bills as wells as more than $2000 worth of $50 bills that he had palmed.

The suspect i described as having a dark complexion, chin strap beard with no mustache, and a heavy accent.
