A 47-year-old Beloit woman is facing charges after police say she ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed and t-boned a squad car. Lieutenant Andre Sayles says the accident happened about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Hackett and North Streets. Sayles says the officer is expected to be off duty for about a week. The squad car is likely totaled.
