With anchors like JC Penney and Boston Store leaving the Janesville Mall many people are wondering what buyer RockStep Capital will fill the empty space with.
Forward Janesville President John Beckord says a representative from the company purchasing the mall will be meeting with members of the business membership organization next week to discuss the future of the property and how it may be repositioned.
Beckord says Janesville has a strong economy, and retail sales numbers are at a peak right now but people are changing their habits when it comes to retail.
