Beloit man arrested for 6th offense OWI

A Beloit man who decided to park his vehicle in the middle of an intersection and impede traffic is under arrest for drunken driving for the 6th time.
According to the criminal complaint, the Beloit Police officer who encountered 36-year-old Jahmar D. Little the afternoon of May 23rd thought he was having engine trouble.
When the officer approached with his squad, Little pulled over to the side of the road and popped his hood.
In speaking with Little, the officer determined he appeared intoxicated and asked him to perform several field sobriety tests. After failing, Little was placed under arrest for operating while intoxicated sixth offense.
State recds indicate Little was previously convicted of OWI in 2012, three times in 2013, and again in 2015.
