Boaters can open the throttle a little again on the southern portion of the Rock River in Rock County. The sheriff’s office says the U.S. Geological Survey Gauge in Afton has dropped below the action mark of 8.5 feet. So the Slow-no-Wake order, from the West Beloit Rock Town Line Road Bridge south to the stateline, can be lifted.
