The company tasked with gauging how voters in the Clinton Community School District feel about a proposed facilities referendum delivers some grim news to the Board of Education.
Bill Foster with School Perceptions shared the results of a survey returned by more than 500 residents with the Board of Education Monday night.
Foster predicts that if the $39.9 million referendum were held today 57% of residents would vote no and 43% would vote yes.
The proposal under discussion includes building a new 4K through sixth grade elementary school, demolishing the old elementary school, moving grades seven and eight to the high school, and investing in tech ed and ag facilities at the high school.
