Monroe police respond to three domestic disturbances at the same residence on the same night – one of which happened after a suspect had already been taken into custody.
According to a news release, Monroe officers first responded to a home on the 800 block of 6th Street at about 5:00 p.m. Monday to deal with a couple who were arguing about their relationship.
An hour later police were dispatched to the same home because at that point property damage had occurred. 25-year-old Fernando de Jesus Valdes-Vera was taking into custody on suspicion of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence Law.
After Valdes-Vera posted cash bond, officers were called to the same home a third time just after 9:00 p.m.
The two were separated and the incident remains under investigation with possible charges pending.
