Janesville police are looking for an armed robber. Police say a man described as white, five-foot-five, light complexion, reddish facial hair, and wearing a grey zip-up hooded sweatshirt robbed a gas station about 10:30 Thursday night. Officers say the robber implied he had a weapon and demanded cash from the register at the BP Gas Station in the 1600 block of East Racine Street. A K9 officer was brought in to track the suspect, but was unsuccessful. The clerk was not hurt. Police are reviewing the surveillance video. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
