Janesville City Parks Director Cullen Slapak says Camden Playground has been a regional draw for years. Originally built 25-years ago, the iconic attraction was in need of a full rejuvenation, which began with planning by a group of volunteers six-years ago. The complete cost of the rebuild, which began two-years ago, was $400 thousand. The group plans to show off the project with a grand re-opening this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. featuring a petting zoo, animal show, clown, food trucks, ice cream, and more.
