Space is filling up quick for the Rock County Land Conservation Department’s upcoming Clean Sweep events.
Conservation Specialist Ann Miller says you need call 608-754-4758 ext. 3 to reserve one of the limited spots.
Miller says while residents who register for the limited spots in advance can dispose of a number of hazardous chemicals like weed killers and lead paints, they can’t bring in everything.
Events will be taking place on Friday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at the City of Edgerton Public Works Garage, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the City of Beloit Public Works Garage.
Another event will take place on August 25th at the Rock County Public Works Garage in Janesville.
