A 26-year-old Stoughton man is charged in federal court with two counts of distributing crack cocaine and with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says the superseding indictment says that Seky Daniel distributed crack cocaine twice in February, and that he possessed a .45 caliber pistol and ammunition on March 7th.

Daniel was previously charged with the gun crime in an indictment returned by the grand jury on March 28th.

If convicted, Daniel faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison on each drug count, and 10 years on the firearm count.
