Bike racers from all over the state and country are in Janesville for a leg of the Tour of America’s Dairyland. Stormy weather may have tempered the crowds, but racers rode hard around the almost one-mile course through the heart of the downtown for prize money and prestige. Many spectators lined up near the finish line and jumbo sized video screens to see the racers speed through the streets. Those in attendance say it’s great for the city to host such an event, and the competitors added how they felt very welcome.
