Janesville Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Christine Rebout is thrilled at all of the traffic downtown (Tuesday) due to the first annual Janesville Town square Gran Prix bike race.
Rebout says Janesville’s leg of the Tour of America’s Dairyland is having quite the economic impact on the area.
Bicyclists participating in the Janesville Town Square Gran Prix bike race didn’t appear dampened by the rain storm that delayed races for a bout a half hour.
It’s the first time the City has hosted the bike race which is a stop of the Tour of America’s Dairyland. About 2000 spectators were expected to descend on the downtown throughout the course of the day.
