The fourth floor of the Janesville City Hall, including the City’s Council Chambers, has recently undergone needed renovations and updates bringing the facility into the 21st century. On August 3, 2018, exactly fifty years to the day since the original dedication of City Hall, the City will host a Re-dedication Ceremony of the City Chambers.
City Hall improvements this year included installation of a new roof, asbestos mitigation, and renovations on the fourth floor including the modernization of technology and furnishings in the Council Chambers.
The City is pleased to welcome the public, City Council members of the past and present, Committee members, and our elected officials to the Council Chambers Re-dedication Ceremony on Friday, August 3, from 3 – 4:30 p.m. A short program will begin at 3:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
