Janesville police are investigating a stabbing on the city’s northeast side. Police say the victim was able to call 911 for help a little before 1:00 a.m. Monday. Officers found the victim on the ground in the 2000 block of Morningside drive with life threatening injuries. The victim was taken to a local medical facility with multiple stab wounds. Evidence technicians and detectives have been called in to assist with the investigation. Police hadn’t released any description of the suspect as of early Monday morning.
