The Beloit Turner School District gets a piece of the $100 million in safety grants being doled out by the State.
Superintendent Dennis McCarthy says the projects include an update to the internal PA system for emergencies.
Other projects include a new visitor screening system that checks for registered sex offenders, and anti-ballistic film at all the the main entrances.
The total amount awarded to the Beloit Turner School District was close to $80,000.
