Beloit police are releasing the name of a suspect in Wednesday afternoon’s shooting on the city’s near west side.  Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Millard says investigators believe 20-year-old Deangelo Thomas and another suspect were attempting to rob a 15-year-old boy, when a 41-year-old man intervened on his behalf. The 41-year-old was shot in the abdomen and is listed in serious condition, and the 15-year-old boy was shot in the legs and is considered in stable condition.  The second suspect is described as a darker complexion black male about five-foot-eight-or-nine with a thin build and goatee, wearing a white baseball hat, baby blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and baby blue retro Air Jordan Shoes. Police are also looking for a newer model quad-cab full-size silver pickup truck used in the incident.
