(Gazette published graphic) Downtown Janesville could be getting a $10 million mixed-use residential project. Echo Development Group and Slingshot Architecture presented a proposal to the city council Monday night for the nearly 16,000 square-foot facility. Dan Drendel of Slingshot Architecture says the corner of Parker street and Wall street downtown is currently an underutilized parking lot, and if everything goes according to plan, the project will break ground next spring. Corner Block On Parker would include 60 residential units and a co-working space on the first floor.
