Janesville police are looking for someone they believe has broken into several businesses on the city’s south and west sides this summer. Detectives say the burglar usually finds a rock or brick near the business breaks the glass to gain entry. Most of the break-ins occurred in the early- morning hours on or near weekends, and it seems the main targets are cash registers, although some of the registers were empty. . The break-ins occurred from July 6th through August 13th. A teenager has been arrested in at least one break-in, but police believe at least one other may have been involved.
