Change for Milton School facilities planning

The Milton School Board’s Strategic Planning Committee will meet Thursday to explore facility upgrades for the school district, but without Brian Kvapil leading the meetings.  Kvapil has informed board President Tom Westrick he is resigning as committee chair, but wants to remain a member of the committee.  Kvapil told The Gazette he was not as effective as he should have been as chairman and thought someone else could do a better job.  The committee has been charged with identifying a solution for the district’s facilities needs.  In recent months, the committee chose to defer a facilities referendum to April and started exploring options for upgrades.
