A 62-year-old former Beloit Police officer charged in Rock County Court with repeated sexual assault of a child in now facing a charge in federal court.
A federal grand jury in Madison returned an indictment on two counts of transporting a minor across state lines with the intent that the minor engage in sexual activity for Larry Woods Wednesday.
Woods’ trial has been scheduled for February 4th. If convicted he faces a maximum of life in prison.
Woods is due to make an appearance in Rock County Court next Wednesday.
