Janesville police are investigating a stabbing incident on the city’s west side. Police say a 26-year-old man was stabbed in the chest about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday outside an apartment building in the 2700 block of West Wall Street. The victim’s injuries are considered serious. Officers say the victim and assailant likely know each other, and they’re talking to a person of interest.
