Laborfest organizers are promising a good parade to cap off a three-day holiday weekend of events in Janesville. Ivan Collins says 50-entries will be part of the parade beginning at 1:00 o’clock Monday afternoon through the downtown. Collins says the theme for this year’s parade is “Past, Present, and Future”. Laborfest began in 1991 to honor all workers, and will include games, food, and music on the UAW grounds Saturday and Sunday. More can be learned at laborfest.org.
