The Green County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash injuring eight people, including six children, all in the same vehicle. The sheriff’s office reports 25-year-old Giovanni A. Reynolds of Brodhead was traveling west on Highway 11 in the town of Spring Grove a little before 8:00 o’clock Thursday night when he reportedly became unconscious. Deputies say Reynolds vehicle crossed the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle, eventually rolling over in the ditch. The driver of the other vehicle, a 17-year-old from Brodhead, wasn’t seriously injured, but Giovanni, and a 24-year-old female passenger, and six children ages two through nine were taken to the Monroe Clinic Emergency Room with non-life threatening injuries. Another child was unhurt. Deputies say only two of the children were properly restrained.
