A 65-year-old Orfordville man is sentenced to seven-years in prison, followed by 15-years extended supervision on charges of the repeated sexual assault of the same child. Rock County Judge John Wood remarked Friday morning during sentencing he was not surprised to learn Thomas E. Cleland Senior admitted to other assaults on children dating back 45-years. The judge also expressed regret the previous cases had gone unreported by the victims. Court records indicate the latest teen-age victim told a school counselor about the assaults, which apparently lasted about five-years.
