The high cost and unpredictable supply of some prescription drugs has SSM Saint Mary’s Hospital Janesville joining a new initiative to offer generic alternatives. SSM Health Chief Transformational Officer Carter Dredge says a new not-for-profit generic drug company will provide these life-saving medicines. SSM Health will be one of the governing members for the company known as Civica Rx.
