Janesville firefighters respond to an early morning blaze at the Texas Roadhouse on Deerfield Drive. Battalion Chief Chris Lukas says flames and smoke were visible from the street when they responded to the call at 12:17 a.m. Friday. Lukas says activated sprinkler heads kept the fire from spreading beyond the parapet roof and sign area. The building’s exterior was damaged by flames and the interior had water damage. Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours. Officials are still looking into the cause.
