(Gazette photo) UW-Whitewater’s chancellor confirms the UW System has ended her husband’s unpaid appointment to the university following a sexual harassment investigation. Chancellor Beverly Kopper says she “fully supported and cooperated with” the system’s investigation against her husband, Pete Hill, who was in a position titled “associate to the chancellor.” Kopper writes Hill has been restricted from attending UW-Whitewater events. Kopper calls it a difficult situation for her personally and professionally, but her top priority has always been to ensure UW-Whitewater is a welcoming campus for all, and that students, faculty and staff have a positive and safe environment in which to learn, live and work.
