A rough stretch of Highway 51 leading into Beloit from the north will be getting some much needed attention. The Department Of Transportation is planning to remove and replace the pavement between Henry Avenue and Highway 11. Work will also include rebuilding the gravel shoulders and replacing the existing guardrail. A public meeting is planned to discuss the project on Tuesday October 2nd from 6:00 til 7:00 o’clock at the Rotary River Center in Beloit.
